Healing Crisis
As you may already know, mind, body and spirit are deeply connected. How does this connection show? For example, when we experience mental stress through constant busy-ness, the mind may become overloaded, the body feels tired, and the spirit is weary and uninspired. Life may start to feel like a chore. The body, infinitely wise and truthful, will give symptoms to signal its state of being. The mind has to make the connection and pay attention. What if the symptoms are more emotional, rather than physical? I would recommend to tune into your emotions and begin to acknowledge how you are truly feeling. Sorting out your true emotions can bring one to the healing path on many levels.
When mind, body and spirit need healing on a larger scale, one may experience a healing crisis. A healing crisis is a sign that the person needs extreme self-care, nurturing, and healing on a deeper level. A person in a healing crisis often benefits by being supported by a caring, skilled professional as well as the love of supportive friends or family.
It is important to remember that all healing begins with the self. While experiencing a healing crisis may feel scary, the good news is that this crisis can be used as a springboard for making positive changes in life. This crisis is usually temporary and can lead to a new start, transforming old behaviours, attitudes and beliefs into more effective ways of being and living. I encourage you to be aware of mind, body and spirit. By working on letting go unhealthy behaviours, attitudes, beliefs, or tolerations, a healing crisis can be avoided. Remember to bring your focus and attention to well-being, self-care, nurturing, and being fully aware of the self, every day.
Seeing into darkness is clarity...

and return to the source of light.
