Fire up your Soul's Engine!

Do you know that your soul is infinitely powerful?
Do you believe that the only thing that can stop you is you?
Do you feel the fire in your soul wanting to set you into motion?

Sometimes I get so fired up with an new idea and yet I find there is resistance in me to go ahead and move forward. Do you sometimes experience that? Lately, this resistance has been wearing a little on me. When this happens, I play a little game with myself to help shake things up. I go to the bookshelf and randomly pull out a book. Then I randomly open it to no particular page. Today, the book I randomly pulled is called "Do what you love, the money will follow" by Marsha Sinetar.

Synchronicity often plays a great part in this game. Today, the page I opened - incredibly - talks about resistance. Sinetar writes about how we learn to avoid things, and that successful people are the ones who don't get in their own way. As Sinetar describes, discipline is an important part for getting what we really want in life.

Today and the rest of this month, take a look at the things you are really passionate about. Think about why you are passionate about these things. Then take a piece of paper and write down an action plan you are willing to commit to and be disciplined to do. Feed your soul not with fear, but with fire! Know that you are powerful and give yourself permission to take a break.
