Guide Me Newsletter

Hello

Whether you are a new or regular subscriber to the 'Guide Me Newsletter', a warm hello and welcome!  
It's been a long, chilly winter here in my part of the world - that is in Kelowna, BC, Canada. Normally our valley is known for its moderate winters, but alas, this one has been colder and longer than we're used to. 

It's been a while since I've written the last newsletter. In a way, I want to say the reason for the delay is that my fingers got frozen to the keyboard... However, the real reason is my newsletter program needed a tune up and it took longer than we thought to fix it. And so goes life, Murphy's Law, when you least expect it something needs attention and time doesn't always allow for it. Thankfully, the newsletter is now back on track. The blessing in disguise is that since I've had a bit of a break writing, I also had a chance to regroup and think about what I'd like to offer in this newsletter. Hence, you may notice a few new additions and changes.  I hope you enjoy this month's edition!

Every month I hold an intention to write about something that could be of importance to share with you. Then, for inspiration, I pull a card from the 'Art Guidance Cards' deck and share it with you. This may be a card that holds some truths or information for you. Today  the card "Universal Creative Force" just jumped out at me, almost as if to say "Pick me! Pick me!!". Here's what the card says:

 "Universal Creative Force"

Feel your creative centre vibrating.
Stimulate your senses with rhythm.
Focus on the fire in your being.
You are born to create.

Inner Guidance Question:
What creative pursuit are you intuitively drawn to?

Guidance Tip Of The Month:
Create with heart and soul! How long has it been since you've created something, you know, something that really got your creative juices flowing? Keep in mind, when you create there doesn't have to be an end result, or product to keep. Too often, this is what keeps creative muse from returning or showing up. We think that unless it's something "great" we create, don't bother at all. Nothing could be further from the truth. Creating just for the sake of having fun is really where it's at.

So, start today. Start small. Use a pencil and paper and sketch, doodle, color, erase, draw in circles, anything at all. Use music to stimulate your flow. Get into it. And when it's done, you don't have to hang it on your wall or refrigerator. Place it in your journal. It's just a form of expression, a form of release. Enjoy the process of just 'being with it'.
